Rocking K Horse Sale & Kruger Quarter Horses is FAMILY owned and operated.
In the early 1980’s Brian & Marj Kruger started the foundation for Kruger Quarter Horses. Brian and Marj both hold many accomplishments in the equine industry. Brian is a very avid rider who holds many credentials to his name. He has competed at both the Eastern & Western National Cutting Horse Finals winning the reserve champion 2,000 limited rider title at the Eastern Nationals, the AQHA World Show and he competes locally at MCHA shows. Brian is also very competitive in local team pennings, sortings and ranch horse shows. He has also had the opportunity to judge Minnesota High School Rodeo Cuttings. Marj also knows the ins and outs of the horse business. She attended Colorado State University for their Equine Reproductive classes and Artificial Insemination School. While standing Dry Tivio Badger and Black As Magic, Marj headed up the breeding program at KQH. After leaving the breeding program behind Marj was able to start enjoying riding and competing with her family. Marj has also become competitive in local team pennings, sortings and ranch horse shows and recently won her first belt buckle at the Carver County ranch rodeo.
All of Marj & Brian’s children are avid riders and hold successes in different events. Blake is staying active in the horse industry as he is Barn Manager at Cannon Falls Arena. Breanna is in her second year of college and is pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Brandon and his wife Breck have stayed around the area to help with Rocking K Horse Sales. Brandon is active in many of the areas equine events also. He is very competitive in the areas team pennings, sortings, ranch horse shows and MCHA cuttings. Brandon has also had the opportunity to judge local horse shows.
Brandon’s wife Breck also grew up in a horse family. She showed POAs, Quarter Horses and Arabians on a local, regional and national level in Hunt Seat and Western Pleasure. She was also on a collegiate junior college horse judging team that won the American Quarter Horse Congress and was Reserve Champions at the AQHA world show. Breck currently works as an equine specialist helping many of the areas horse owners with their feeding programs.
